The Sparky Who Moved Up

Hello, folks again! Remember Awana? Well, I movedup to T&T Boys, and I can read and I can memorize verses on my own now. Next week there is an Awana store and we get Awana Bucks that are like real dollars except they are for Awana only. I have $53 Awana Bucks, so I hope to get something good at the Awana store. There's also Awana T&T Girls, and they get Awana Bucks too. I hope whoever is reading this blog will maybe go to Awana if you're the right age. I'm speechless, folks!

My Next Tooth

Hello, it's me again. I lost my 8th tooth about a week ago. Since I have a loft bed, I put it on the floor where my mom, er, where the tooth fairy could reach it. I got six army guys, some Spider Man cards and a dollar in quarters. My next tooth is already coming in! I can't wait to lose another tooth. My 9th!
Good night, folks!

The New Bed

Hello, folks! A couple of days ago, my bed was getting a little uncomfortable. And then our next-door neighbors had a bed that they wanted to give to me, because their son was getting a new bed. So he was giving it to me.
It's a bunk bed without a bed at the bottom. You climb up a ladder to get up into the bed. Your ears pop when you lie in it!
My first night in the bed was the best night in a bed I've ever had, because it was so comfortable and big. It was like sleeping in a waterbed.
It is fun! I feel like a fireman climbing the ladder. Our neighbors are so nice to me!
The hermit crabs were given to me by them, too. I'm very connected to my crabs, especially when they pinch me. I love my neighbors as a friend. The end.

My First Awana Games Experience

About a week a go I went to the Awana Games it was pretty fun. It was pretty exciting. At the first part they had the Olympic music. I was pretty startled. Before we went into the room of the Awana games, my friend asked me if I was nervous. First I said "no", and then he asked again, I said "Sort of." Then they opened the doors and he asked again, and I said, "I am fully nervous." Then I was pretty startled because there were a lot of people watching! And that was my first time at the Awana games.
Also, there is a club named Awana. They teach the gospel. They have Bible verses like this one: Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." And also this one: Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
I'm done for now. Good bye!

Dodgers versus Doops

I want to be a baseball player when I grow up. Right now I'm on a baseball team called the Dodgers. How that game got started--well, first I went to practice, and the coach said, "We need to think of a name," so we voted. Some of the kids voted for "Doops." My mom and dad were wondering about that. My mom looked on the computer and my mom found that they were a bad music group. Then my mom called the coach and he was surprised. He didn't know what "Doops" meant. So my mom told him, and he said, "I guess Dodgers is good." That's how we became the Dodgers team. The next practice I went and got my uniform, which ended up being the Dodgers' color team, which is dark blue. That's my favorite color. The end!

My First X-Ray

The other day, I felt this pain in my leg. It was a real bad pain; it looked like a bruise and I didn't know if it was from jumping down the stairs or something else. We wondered whether I had a broken leg bone, because I didn't want to walk except on crutches. Then about a day later my mom took me to the doctor. First I had a checkup and then I had an x-ray. The x-ray was really annoying, because I had to put my leg on a board and be in a really uncomfortable position. Then it ended up I was fine, and the doctor said I would just have the pain for a couple of days. Now I'm fine and I'm glad I don't have to wear a cast!

"I'm Going! I'm Going!"

The other night my sister and my mom heard me yelling, "I'm going! I'm going!" as I went running down the stairs. I was asleep the whole time! It was really funny, because my sister was trying to wake me up and my eyes were open, but I was really asleep still. I don't remember it happening, but both of them do! They hope that I don't go running out the door some night in my sleep.

Making my Entry into the Blogosphere

Hi there!

I am 8 years old. I just lost my tooth. It was very exciting. This is the 7th tooth I've lost. It feels good that I lost my tooth again.

I want to be a doctor when I grow up. I'm inspired by a baby that I saw on tv last night. I want to help babies like that when I grow up. I want to go to The Master's College where I can learn about that stuff.

I like to play baseball and basketball. I also want to learn about that at Master's College.

I guess that's all I want to say for now. Good bye!
